Unhappy customer

I hired a car from them, it has been a week now, with no communication as to when I will get my deposit paid back after numerous requests, received an email late last night stating that they will investigate and it will take 4-7 days to complete the investigation. You pay your deposit immediately, why should I wait so long for it to get paid back????
