Subject: Complaint Against Europe Car Rental, Bramfontein – Unjust Damage Claim

Dear HelloPeter Team,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Europe Car Rental, Bramfontein, regarding an alleged damage claim on a vehicle I rented from them.

When I collected the car, an employee conducted a standard inspection. During this inspection, the employee did not kneel, inspect closely, or examine the car from different angles or distances. I accepted the car without any reservations.

Upon returning the vehicle, a different employee conducted a detailed inspection and claimed that I had caused damage to the car. However, the alleged damage is not visible to the naked eye, and the staff member herself admitted that it could only be seen when kneeling extremely close to the car. There are no scratches, dents, or marks visible under normal inspection conditions.

Additionally, I returned the car with more fuel than it initially had, and I adhered to all other terms of the rental agreement. Despite this, Europe Car Rental is attempting to charge me for damage that is essentially imperceptible and not documented at the time of collection.

I believe this claim is unjustified and unfair, and I request HelloPeter’s assistance in addressing this matter. I am happy to provide photographs, fuel receipts, and any other documentation to support my position.

I kindly ask for your intervention to ensure that Europe Car Rental withdraws this unwarranted claim.
