Terrible - Not what they used to be

<p>I rented a car from Europcar at Lanseria last week. Firstly, the car was so noisy, sounded like the engine was coming out. This was getting louder as I drove. Then when I hit the freeway, the wheel balancing and alignment were terrible; the car was shaking very badly. When I returned the car, I pointed this out to the lady I handed it back to, she was not very interested and just said thanks for bringing it to our attention and continued her conversation with one of the other workers. I then went to the office and pointed this out to the guy behind the desk, he also did not really want to engage and find out what the problem is, he just asked if I pointed this to the staff when I returned it, he simply said, thanks for pointing this out. End of story. Until this morning when I queried the amount that was charged to my credit card, the most unhelpful gentlemen on the phone raised his voice at me and said that I should keep quiet and let him explain. In an abrupt manner he said that yes the online reservation and what they charge is not the same and that the following will be charged extra: R56.00 tire and windscreen, R77. 00 for the admin. My question is why was this not calculated in when I made the booking and this was emailed to me? I just had the most terrible expiriance from them, and I used to make use of them on a regular basis. Very disappointing!!!!</p>
