Shady dealings and not willing to honor their own terms and conditions!!!!

Never ever use Europcar!!!!

The key for my rental vehicle went missing. I immediately called the Europcar and informed them thereof as I was scared that they person who took the key might ***** the car. I was informed that I will be liable for costs to uplift the car, which the amount can only be given it to me when it is towed to their other branch at AA rates, I'm liable for the locksmith costs to unlock the car, plus the lost/****** key of R7500, yet when I called the dealership myself they informed me that the key with coding will be R3000. Then I have to pay a limited liability of R3926, plus if I wish to still have a rental car, I need to pay R3950. I got this vehicle last week Friday, and I had to pay a deposit of R1490. I have asked for the agreement and nowhere is mention of loss of keys. The liability is payable in the event of there being damages to the car or for theft of a car. Furthermore it says that for a changeover I need to pay an additional rental deposit, which to me will be R1490. How can you go against your own terms and conditions? I signed for it!

Avis is much better than your useless company!
