**** Rental Company referred by Europcar

Hi went to Cape Town 19 February 2016 for a week. Went to Europcar and they did not have any vehicles available. The Europcar employee phoned around but without success. He made anohter call and a minute later someone arrived and the Europcar employee referred me to this person and this person said I can rent the vehicle from him as he usually provided vehicles for Europcar when they are out of vehicles. The Europcar employee was present during this converstaion so I believed all was in order. The person cliam to be from Falcon Car Rental<br> <br> I paid a deposit of R 2,000 which is acceptable as I know any vehicle rental company request a deposit.<br> <br> I was told on date of returning the vehicle I would get a deposit refund. This was supposed to be paid back to me on the 26th of February and i am still waiting for the deposit. Lazarus who claims he is the owner of the business, has stories the whole time about the deposit and always says tomorrow.<br> <br> Reason for this complaint is I do hold Europcar responsible as well as you referred me to this person/company <br> <br> <br> <br>
