Reversal of incorrect charges waiting since April
Europcar Botswana was only supposed to reserve R1000 and then charge fuel cost on return, which never exceeds R300. Instead R3132.98 (P2500) was charged to my credit card on 24 March 2015. I became aware of this when I received my April credit card statement. I queried it with Europcar Botswana the same week and they assured me they will take it up with the Johannesburg branch where the invoices are processed.

I formalised my query with an email to Mr Kago at Europcar Botswana on 21-04-2015 but had no response.

On 25-05-2015, I contacted the Johannesburg branch, and Theodore Delly asked my to forward the original email, car vouchers and I included a copy of my credit card statement where the charge appeared. Again, I had no response.

On 04-06-2015 Theodore was not in the office when I phoned to follow up and Pfumelani Siweya asked me to forward all previous communications to her. Upon receipt I was given a reference number 444545, an apology and the assurance that a customer services representative would contact me with the outcome. She also promised that it normally takes 3-4 days for the relevant branch to investigate but they would respond that same day.

TO DATE NO RESPONSE
