Ref: EUROPCAR//***. / Third party Recovery stalling

Ref: EUROPCAR//***. On 11 March 2026 another third party (insured with Budget Insurance) collided with a vehicle behind me, which collided into me (Europcar rental MR29KNGP ). Since date of accident, excess cost and towing cost were charged to my account. To date I've been send from pillar to post to recover the cost from the liable third party. Europcar staff Pilisiwe Khumalo and Jabulile Shongwe keep indicating that the Europcar vehicle is till in for repairs and a final invoice cannot be delivered to the liable parties insurers. They usually allow them 30 to 60 working days to respond. You’ll be advised once same is received.. the report is incorrect. I'm out of pocket on Towing Cost Disputed: R 4,324,79 and Excess: R 4,950. and Eurpocar and Budget insurance is dragging their feet to recover the cost. Absolute poor service with no care to clients.
