R11 000 DEPOSIT - shocking!
On the 5th of August 2019 I rented a car from Lanseria and the deposit was R 5 908.7... fair enough! However, I did an identical rental this Friday the 23rd August 2019 and the deposit they took from me was R 11 174.40!!!! The reason the tell me is due to the fact I used a DEBIT card and not a CREDIT card.... I don't own a credit card and used the same card for the previous rental! Now I am over 10 grand down in my bank account at the end of the working month when debit orders are due to be deducted and I won't see the money for a further 2 weeks!!! I need some answers as to WHY R11k was necessary?!?!?!
