Promised car not delivered

I had booked a car for the 24th of December 2015 but a car was not made available to me.This is after being given a booking number and told that a car would be available as long as I had that number. They did not even bother to call to let me know that there was no car. This greatly inconvenienced my plans and if this is how Europcar runs their business here in Mahikeng, then something needs to improve. Add to that, I realized that Neo, who had taken my booking, had not even taken down my number so how would they have gotten back to me? I actually had to ask them if they had my number in order to keep me updated. They did not have it. My name and Surname were not even entered correctly. This seems very unprofessional to me. They should have just said that they were fully booked from the onset like what AVIS said. This way, I would not have relaxed with the idea that the car was booked. Very disappointing! This tells me that there is obviously a flaw in the Europcar booking system in Mahikeng. It would also have been nice if they called, but I had to keep calling them. A call to let me know that they had failed to secure a car for me would have been appreciated... but, nothing!
