Poor Service + Poor Quality Car
Europcar does not do proper quality checks on their cars before renting them out. No respect for paying customers. Rented a vehicle on the 19/01/16 (***), could not complete the full check as they expected me to do this in the rain. Drove home that night and could not see as the front headlights were completely out of focus, stopped at a garage to just double check. During this the attendant advised me that the tyre pressure for all 4 tyres were low, also the water in the windscreen wiper bottle was out??

To top it off, they had given me the wrong class of vehicle, was promised the correct one after 2 days but this did not happen.

Took them almost 2 weeks of numerous e-mails, phone calls and a visit to the Sandton branch and guess what, still not resolved. Only once I escalated them did Sane from the office try to contact me which in essence was way too late.

Wake up Europcar, poor service and not road worthy cars rented out to unsuspecting clients is bad business practice.

To top it off, they also charged me for a petrol top up which I did do at the Shell next door to them?

Greed and theft from Eurpocar,!
Thank you for reverting back to us.
Please accept our humble apologies for the service failure and the manner in which it was attended ,this is certainly not consistent with our quality process and brand promise.
This will immediately be escalated to the branch manager to revert back to you with a formal apology for the inconvenience caused.
Thank you for your patience in the interim.
