Overcharged by Europcar

I have use Europcar I borrow Suzuki Swift 1.2 from the 1st of April till May 9. When the car was with me I took it to car wash (steam pipe), the top paint peal off about a cm of paint. When they charge me for the damage, to my surprise, they cost me R5087,37. That too me seems like a complete *******. Even the complete new bumper of that car won’t cost that much unless they were charging for all the damage on the car on me.
