Overcharged and shocking customer service

We rented a car on the 21st of December and returned it well within 24 hours but was charged for an addiitonal day. The invoice listed a return time that was 7 hours later than the actual return time. My wife communicated the error to Euorpcar's debtor department on the 25th December and also requested via the customer feedback service to receive an update. It is now several weeks later and we've followed up twice with the debtor department to receive a refund without any luck. Instead, we were charged an additional R1,500 on the 9th of January. I would not expect such poor service and system errors from a large rental company. What is most annoying is that there seems to be absolutely no urgency from the debtor or customer service team to assist.

Dear Calvin

We have finally received the reimbur*****t for the overpayment, however, the R1,533 deposit that left our account on the 9th January (3 weeks after the actual rental) has not been returned. How is it possible that your team is unable to locate my deposit? They are requesting me to send through a bank statement to prove that the money left my account.
