Mentally drained and thanks to Europcar

I am mentally drained because of Europcar. They handed me to attorneys for claim that I have been disputing since December 2018. Here's my story in December 2018 I hired a car "SWIFT" through an insurance for 30 days. Whilst in possession of a car, weeks later I received a call from their offices that the car is due for service and I was not supposed to be given same and they apologized for an inconvenience . They advised that they will send a driver with another vehicle at work. Driver arrived with another SWIFT and exchanged the vehicles. Later they deducted monies for petrol for the first vehicle. Within 7 days whilst driving the second vehicle from work to home I had a flat tyre. I immediately called their call centre since I cannot change the tyre. They advised I can ask anyone to assist but I must bring back the car immediately and not drive it with spare wheel. I informed them I will do that tomorrow since I it was already late and tired from work. Following day I took it back and when at their offices they said I must lodge a claim, I asked claim for what it's just a flat tyre and cannot be taken to the garage, superquick etc for checking in my presence. The gentleman that was assisting me refused and said that will not happen, they will take it themselves at their own time when taking all other tyres. We had a long disagreement and he called his manager who confirmed what he said. I said then I am taking the car myself, they refused and told me that I called their offices and already there with the tyre. That I must comply, failing which there will be consequences. I had comply and explain in the form about the tyre. After finishing that I asked him to go outside with me to inspect the tyre and see that there is an nail in it that needs to be removed and that will not cost more than R100. He asked another gentleman to assist. Fortunately, I parked close and the gentleman took the tyre from the boot and showed him what I was talking about. I was also shocked to see the condition of the tyre and questioned him why I was given a car with very old tyre like that, he could not answer. I said I will take pictures of that tyre because something worse could have happened to me because of it's condition. My 30 days was still running however as I was already fed up with an argument I decided not to take the third vehicle to avoid more quarrel. They again deducted the petrol money for the vehicle. Later I was surprised to received statement that I owe them more that R1000.00 for SWIFT tyre. No one called me about the damage in tyre and was not given an option and or choice. SWIFT tyre will never cost that amount besides taking out a nail never costs more that R1000.00. You change the tyre when it's damaged. "They took the first car, gave me second one with old tyres within 7 days there's a problem" whist only driving form work to home in a tar road with good condition and park in ba*****t at work. I even asked them to check the tracker to confirm such. I disputed the claim and showed them pics and even asked them to obtain the video footages to see that I had problem from their offices and took pics there etc. That didn't happen. Now different attorneys I sending me demands being threatened. I am really not happy and mentally drained because of this whole thing.
