Lack of communication within Europcar.
<p>August 2016, Hired car from Newcastle UK airport.</p> <p>Service very poor.</p> <p>Rececived a speeding fine. Europacar billed UKP36 for Admisnistration fee.</p> <p> </p> <p>ME – 19.10.2016: Deduction of fee, made by Europcar to my credit card,</p> <p> </p> <p>ME - 29.10.2016: - With regards to your letter I received from your offices undated.<br /> Please note that a deduction of UKP 36 was charged to my credit card on 19.10.2016.</p> <p> </p> <p>ME – 10.11.2016: Copy of credit card statement sent as proof of payment.</p> <p> </p> <p>Europcar – 22.11.2016: From the document received, I verify that the account where you made the deposit is not our main account. Can you please tell me how you got the account where you made the payment?</p> <p> </p> <p>ME – 22.11.2016: As I have stated, I did not make the payment myself. The amount was charged by Europcar direct to my credit card. </p> <p> </p> <p>Europcar - 09.12.2016: Could you please provide a proof of that payment, so we can correctly allocate it against your details. (Was sent to you 10 NOVEMBER 2016).</p> <p> </p> <p>ME – 10.12.2016: The proof of payment that I have is the attachment Was sent to you 10 NOVEMBER 2016, showing a debit had been made to my credit card, by Europcar on 19.10.2016. </p> <p><br />Europcar – 12.12.2016: - Thank you for contacting Europcar customer services.</p> <p>We have received payment. </p> <p>Thank you for taking the time to contact us and for bringing this matter to our attention.</p> <p>Europcar – 12.01.2016: Sorry for insisting on this request but as I mentioned in the email below the document you sent is not allowing me to locate the payment.</p> <p>In your proof was an account; however you are stating that the amount was deducted directly from your card. Please send us a copy of this transaction. (Was sent to you 10 NOVEMBER 2016).</p> <p> </p> <p>Europcar – 13.01.2017: Following this email, accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.</p> <p> </p> <p>What is at stake here is the lack of payment that you insist on telling us that was done.</p> <p>I ask you again to send us proof of this payment. (Was sent to you 10 NOVEMBER 2016).</p> <p>Your data has already been transferred to an external collection agency.</p> <p> </p> <p>If you have actually made the payment please send us the proof. (Was sent to you 10 NOVEMBER 2016}.</p> <p>I believe that this matter is in your best interest and that if the payment has been made it will be promptly resolved.</p>
