Hold on funds not released

<p>I recently hired a car from Europcar in London, invoice number ********** 84155. I gave back car on 30th of May, and received proof that car is in same condition as received. A hold of £279.22 was placed on my card for possible traffic fines. The terms is that this should be released in 3 to 10 working days. Although more than 10 days passed, i am finding it difficult to get a release on the funds. Their response is that funds are only on hold. My problem is that according to terms they must lift the hold to make funds available to me.</p>
