Hidden interest costs when using Europcar

<p>Heads up. When hiring a vehicle from Avis they put a hold an amount to cover the deposit on your credit card. Whithin 3 days of returning your vehicle this hold is then released. With Europcar they withdraw a deposit of about double of the Avis amount for a similar vehicle from your credit card which you only get back around a week after you return the vehicle. You are then paying interest on this amount for this duration.</p>
