FUEL CHARGE?

I recently rented a vehicle (***) and the vehicle was delivered to Santam Autolab in Menlyn from the CSIR Europcar branch. The car was returned with a full tank of gas, which happened at the Newlands filling station around the corner.<br> An amount of R133-00 was charged from the initial fee I had to pay when the car was rented? When I enquired about this I was jokingly told by a customer care person who thought I have no reason to ask such a question in the first place, that the amount was for refilling the vehicle? I was told they have to drive it back to the CSIR, and it is for my expense. REALLY? I told her it is only 5,9km from Menlyn to CSIR and the charge is overrated and it must be wrong? Needless to say I was told that it is in the contract... which I am fully aware of, but really R113-00 for fuel used to travel 5.9km?<br> <br> This is *********, but then again - IT IS EURPOCAR!
