Europcar wanting to charge 45% increase from six weeks ago

The price for a vehicle to hire (H1 or similar) has gone up 45% (R1000 per day) since October and the explanation is that this is due to "manufacturer" increases and it is as low an increase as they could do. 45%... in six weeks just on the cost of renting the vehicle. Not OK.
