Europcar not returning deposit

I was very happy with the price of my rental and the friendliness of the staff on collection but it has been over two weeks and they still have not returned my deposit. I have put through two queries but no success. No follow up. R7900 is quite a sum to hold onto for this time period. They were happy with the condition of the vehicle when it was returned but I've heard nothing.
