Europcar have zero customer service & deduct money off your credit card without your consent!

I received a traffic fine of R129 whilst driving one of Europcar's hire vehicles. I received a message to say that they have passed my details on to the traffic department and that I "MAY" be charged an admin fee. The next week Europcar deducted an amount of R310.00 off my credit card without my consent for their so-called admin fee. This constitutes ***** and theft. How do they justify a fee of R310, more than double the fine amount, for simply sending my name, ID and contact details to the traffic department. In my mind this should be part of their customer service and not be an exorbitant additional fee. What an absolute *******. I will NEVER do business with Europcar again and will advise all my friends family members and work colleagues not to do business with Europcar. I am absolutely shocked at the number of negative reviews on this site and just wish I had checked here before booking with them. Lesson learnt.
