Europcar - 20% admin fee on etag usage - BE WORNED!

Hi My insurance booked me a car for 30 days for which I paid a R2000 deposit. On the day of receipt I was advised we don't have to do an inspection I can go home and do the inspection there because I was sent a link which will enable me to do so. When I got home and wanted to use the link, it expired because it is valid for only 30 min. Luckily my car was in order. When I received my invoice after delivering the car back, there was a 20% admin fee on the etag installed in the car. This equates to R140 more expense on my side. When I enquired I was advised "When you use toll gates while renting one of our vehicles, we will charge you for the actual toll gate fees you incur, plus an Administration Fee to cover the costs of managing and maintaining the related systems. The Admin Fee is charged at 20% of the cost of the toll charge incurred." I understand the use of the etag when there was etoll but this is no longer relevant, almost for a year. This prevents me to pay for my tollgates as normal and leaves me no choice than to pay the R140 extra. This is a cheap and ********* way of making easy money off people. Not acceptable and I wish my insurance reads this and change from service providers.
