Europcar

My friend and I hired a car from Europcar and when we returned the car, it was inspected and nothing was found. However for some reason they allegedly found a scratch on the front bumper after we had left. We asked them to send a pictures of and they sent us a picture of a car bumper and just the scratched area. We then said but you can not even tell which car it is, as there is no registration number a full picture. We then asked them to show us video footage of when we brought back the car and we asked for a meeting. We went for the meeting and they showed us the video, but said the camera was not built to zoom in and show that kind of damage. We asked them where the picture they sent us was taken and they said where we left car, meaning the car was never moved when the picture was taken. We however showed them that there are lines in the picture, which are clearly not there in the video and to this they said we should end the meeting for the day they have other things to do and they will investigate further.

To our surprise now send we have been sent a letter of demand for the damage, so basically if Europcar says you damaged their car, that is that. They do not have to prove anything and still take your money, it's dealing with some mafia business.

So to any lawyer out there here is a case of ***** for you, please contact me.
