Europcar's (King Shaka Airport )abusive business practices.

I recently rented a car with this company like I've done many times , However the experience I had with Eurocar at King Shaka Airport was different from my other dealings I've had with other branches . Its an experience I would not want any other consumer to have , Thus my warning to the public . On the day I hired the Vehicle the inspection that was done with me was on the body / Exterior of the vehicle .i.e. Front / sides / back as expected , every thing seemed above board. Mind you at no point was the inspection done Underneath the Vehicle , when I took possession . Upon returning the vehicle , I'm then told that there's damages to the vehicle , to my shock & horror I then inquire where the damage is ? The inspector kneels down and shows me a + - 4 cm scratch UNDERNEATH the back bumper After close to an hour of going back and forth explaining that this was a preexisting scratch , almost missing my flight back to Lanseria , I was informed the matter would be thoroughly investigated . 2 weeks later when I inquire about my R4000 deposit refund , I'm sent an email telling me I caused damage to the vehicle and that I had accepted causing the damages , to the tune of R3 600 .00 to repair I then inquire how is it that Eurocar king shaka has different inspection methods for when customers are taking possession vehicles from that of when customers return vehicles? Why was the inspection not done underneath the vehicle prior to me taking the vehicle ? Where in your pictures does it shown your inspector checking the vehicle for any damage underneath the rear bumper of the vehicle ? How reasonable is it to expect an unsuspecting customer to kneel / bend down to check UNDERNEATH for the condition of a vehicle when hiring a car ? Because the likelihood of this is zero , that's when it hit me that there's some kind of **** being run in that Branch. I find Eurocar's King Shaka Airport Branch to have improper business practices , that are unfair, unreasonable, deceptive, misleading, unfair ............This is taking advantage of unsuspecting consumers , I rely feel like I've been coned by this Branch.
