Don’t be duped / de*****ed into paying an excess for other people’s damage#no2

rented a car for a couple of days. this had been my very first. I made my booking and made payment. Before collecting I kept calling to ask a few questions with no luck. Phone just rang. Finally left work in Sasolburg, went to their branch in vanderbijlpark. I still didn't get much explanation as to how everything works .Rushed back to work. I then bumped into a pole at a garage, went to the nearest police station to fill in an accident report form. I then returned the car and showed them the damage. They then filled in thr same report and told me theyd make a claim on my behalf. I had to keep calling to ask how for the process was with no response. A month later I received an email saying I should pay almost R17000 but for damages that I didn't make.i called back ,spoke to NTHABISENG .I then told her that those were not my damages that im now expected to pay for. A week later she sent me the correct damages with the same R17000 .they never told me what the answer from insurance was .I feel im being ****** ,have no proper explanation as to why its that much and what im really paying for .Im just required to pay full stop....I wish id read all other reviews before going to them
