Dishonest Re-Fuelling Policy

One days car rental from King Shaka in a VW Polo. I drove less than 100km to Durban centre and back. At King Shaka I topped up the tank at the Sassol and returned the car immediately.

Upon return of my insurance deposit it turn out that Eurpocar had deducted ZAR170. There was no notification of the deduction or final invoice to reflect what had been deducted.

Chasing them up they told me that they had deducted the funds for fuel. That is 10l of fuel into a full tank for a car driven less than 100kms and consumes 5l/100km.

This is plain dishonest
