Deposit deducted without any noticce

<p>On the 10th of January I rented a vehicle fro Europecar. Went through the normal process of swiping my credit card as a deposit.</p> <p>Around 14:00 on the 11th of January I returned the vehicle. Someone from Europecar took the keys from me and I asked if I can go. Everything is good to go he told me.</p> <p> </p> <p>When I arrived back home, 19:15, this is after the flight and 2hours wait at the airport, I receive a phone call from Europecar saying that when the vehicle were checked in at the depot they notice a dent and I am liable for this.</p> <p> </p> <p>She said that they checked the camera footage and I am liable. So the next morning my deposit are taken off my account.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have received no invocie or report nothing! The lady who phoned me, Kammini Reddy constantly tells me that a Claims Manager would contact me, but up today nobody has called me.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have sent various emails and phoned numerous times.</p> <p> </p> <p>Hopefully HelloPeter would assist in some way? Surely they cannot make you liable if you did not agree on the damage or signed some sort of incident report? </p> <p> </p>
