We recently hired a car from europcar through discovery vitality. We had 200kms allowance a day which was not a concern as we were in Johannesburg for a wedding which was taking place at the hotel we stayed at. So we had no extra travelling to do. We dropped the car off at O R Tambo after filling up the fuel tank at the engen garage at the airport. When we get out invoice they charge us R50 for petrol and an excess of mileage R1200 and some change. We definitely did not go over the 800km limit we had. We have emailed and emailed but to no avail. They keep saying they will contact us but i keep getting calls that ring twice and cut off once you answer.

They do not want to provide the satellite tracking proof as well. As we asked for it when they sent us the invoice. The money has already left our account and now nobody wants to help us out.

PLEASE BE AWARE MAKE SURE YOU TAKE PICS OF YOUR MILEAGE AND ALSO KEEP SLIPS OF YOUR FUEL FILL UP. PEOPLE WITHIN THE EUROPCAR ARE *****ING AND WE HAVE TO COVER THE COSTS!!!!!!!!
