Admin fee for traffic fines

My experience with Europcar was great up to the point where they charged me an admin fee of R310 for a fine incurred during my trip. It is bad enough to have to pay the fine, but to charge me that much for something that can be paid online I do not agree with. I see this as opportunistic. I will be spreading the word on this unfair business practice!!! I tried reasoning with europecar but just get the usual "read the fine print" response. Penny wise, pound foolish!!
