Exploiting customers with no refunds

Greetings

I hereby wish to lodge a formal complaint regarding the purchase of the shoes worth R1700 at Europa Arts in Pavilion (Durban) on the 10th of February 2019. On the 10th/2/19 I bought a pair of shoes at Europa Arts and wore them the next day in a prefect inauguration event held at work, while wearing the shoes I felt that there were a bit unstable and was quite challenging to walk on, meanwhile I am very used to wear high heeled shoes. During the event I got so embarrassed when I slipped and fell, only to find that the right shoe heel broke and I had to complete the event barefooted. I could not even wear those shoes on valentines as the plan was. Few days later, the 18th/2/2019 to be exact, I returned the shoes and explained what happened and the store manager by the name of:Denzil, told me he can’t replace nor refund the shoes, he would rather send it for assessment to find out if it was the manufacturer’s fault or what, a couple of days later I got a call from the store saying they won’t replace nor refund however they will try and fix the shoe.

I am very disappointed with this and seek justice because I didn’t spend close to R2000 just to have a repaired unreliable pair of shoes. I want a full refund or replacement and I want an apology by the store for the embarrassment and humiliation I have suffered from the day I wore those shoes, all the running around they have put me through and not to mention the inconvenience they have caused.

Trusting that this matter will be resolved accordingly.

Thanking you

Sincerely Mrs Nomsa Thabethe
