Defective/poor quality expensive shoes

I have been unfortunately been ill-treated by Europa Art Shoes.

September 2023 I purchased two pairs of shoes, total cost of to pairs was paid cash is R5202.00. 17 November 2023 I went bank to the store to share my frustration experienced in less than 3 months of purchase.

One pair of shoes, a trim in front came off and the shoes did not look the same, tried to repair the shoe myself because I really like the shoes had no intentions to returning the shoes. In addition to that I notices that the skin was tearing from the back of the shoe, was very disappointed to learn that an expensive shoe like this is not of good quality.

Second pair of pumps also started peeling the skin in front which simple meant that it not properly leather or quality shoe, decided to take back both pairs laid a complaint , the store manager started arguing with me telling me that since I have repaired the shoe myself they cannot assist. The very same shoe that has defects from the back that I did not touch. After exchanging words I pick arrogance, a retail shop that does not care about customers. Eventually I left the shoes still packaged as bought with the invoice and told her that I need my money back since I feel that there is incorrect or misleading display of the price of both pairs that are not of good quality.

Seeing that they were not willing to assist I then reported Europa Art shoes at Consumer Goods & Services OMBUD, where they struggled to receive correspondence from the retail shop. They actually continued to project their arrogance pushing OMBUD away, never considered any recommendations to reimburse. It was just me following with OMBUD even OMBUD failed me they told me that they don't have powers wo enforce, however recommendations are made, failure to that they compiled a report wrote back to me telling me the supplier cant assist in this regard. It is up to me I want to refer the matter to the National Consumer Commission where i am also pushed away with all kinds of sections. I am convinced that the matter has received descrimination or *********** people attended to it.

I don't put this because the matter is not favoring me, but seems like they are easily pushed away.

I don't know of any retail shop that handles customers badly like this HIGHLY RATED SO CALLED EUROPA ART - ROSEBANK.

They are aware that I have reported them, they called me to come fetch my shoes, they are finished with repairs could not believe that shoes bought and taken back to the shop in less than 3 months deserves repairs.

They have shoes an my money with them, very very disappointed.
