Bad customer experience from Europa Art Popup store, Menlyn

I bought 3 pairs of shoes at Europa Art Popup shop costing R3400, I left 1 pair of shoes to be stretched and when I went to collect the shoes I found them not stretched. I then asked the store to refund me as the shoes were not stretched according to our agreement. The store refused to give me a refund saying that stretching does not guarantee that the shoes will be stretched according to my requirements. When I mentioned that the risks were not explained to me because if they were, I would have chosen not to buy the shoes as I’m not desperate. I left the store without the shoes and called Europa Art Head Office to explain my predicament. I then received a message from the store saying I need to return to the store for a refund as they have to refund into the card I used and they can’t do an EFT. Today I got to the store and the salespeople failed to do a refund as they say their machine do not have the refund option. They had cash on hand to give to me but Lana from Head Office stopped them from refunding me saying they need to take a copy of my credit card so that they can do the reversal. I informed her that I’m not comfortable with having copies of my credit card lying around as I won’t know in whose hands my card details might fall, exposing me to ********** transactions being made on my card. Now that I’m here, they now want my banking details, what sort of customer service is this? I had explained that I don’t come to Menlyn Mall often and I am here, yet again and they are giving me the run around. According to the consumer protection act, no store can refuse to refund a customer and what this store is practicing is unfair and *********. Seeing that I have no choice, I will give them My account details hoping for a refund by tomorrow!
