Day/Night switch on Floodlight not working

I recently bought a Eurolux FS260 floodlight and got that installed. The day/night sensor on this unit does not work. This is frustrating because I bought this online and shipped it to my home because I wanted specifics that I could not find at a local store. The effort to replace the light is just not worth it, and I am disappointed. I should have done my homework and it seems like Eurolux LED lights are not well perceived by the consumers :/ I am now stuck with a light that is constantly lit; I could have bought a similar product for less than half the price.

PS I did follow forum suggestions e.g. switching power on/off, pointing a flashlight to the sensor etc.
