Cake boo-boo

I ordered two cakes for a farewell for a colleague. One choc ganache and one mocha. When I got to work I struggled to cut the mocha cake and I tried 3 different knives, even tried a bread knife. Eventually it cut but it damaged alot of the pieces because of the pressure I had to apply when using the knife. I called to complain and Genevieve was kind enough to want to send me another cake. She obviously understands customer service and her clientele. I told the staff another cake was on it's way. I recieved a call a few minutes later from her to say the boss didn't want to send another cake and I had to pay and the mocha inner was usually hard. I was irate and refused to spend more money at their shop. A colleague lost a nail trying to cut the rest of the cut as we had no choice now. We were forced to eat this as well as the chocolate cake. There was a potent smell from the choc cake and I called them again to ask if there was alcohol in it but they said no. After tasting it, the frosting tasted sour and the cake smelled stale. Suffice to say not many ate of these cakes and it was a waste. I'll never buy anything there agin. Utterly disappointed in this manager and the cakes.
