Care Facility

Today I would like to share my experience with above mentioned Institution. I had to find my husband a frail care centre, as he was gravelly ill after his second amputation. A friend mentioned Eureka. I went to see them a lady called Nonnie, Manageress. She showed me a private room, which I decided on. I had to pay R6000.00 deposit in May. End of May I had to pay another R6000.00 on which she informed me that if my husband was not there yet, I'll have to pay R12 000. My husband sadly passed away on 16 June 2023. I informed the Care Center of his Death on which Nonnie said she'll see if they can refund me some of the money.

She deleted me from all contacts up and till now, she has not made contact.

Is that how they care for the elderly? With other peoples money ?
