Eugene Marais Hospital Poor service

We went to the Trauma Unit at Eugene Marais Hospital on Monday 24 April 2023. Arrived at 13:00. Reception started to open a file and we went to triage. My Dad had severe pains in his right leg. At 15:00 the Doctor came to see us, the file was still not opened. Blood samples were taken. We had to wait. No one came back to us. I have asked one of the staff at 18:00 what was going on, he said he will find out but never came back. At 19:00 I asked again. No one came back. At 20:00 I asked again, the staff member came back and according to him my Dad could go home. Apparently there were comments on the computer. No one gave us any information at any stage what is going on. We left. At 22:00 a Doctor from Eugene Marais and asked where is my Dad. According to the blood tests he had severe infection and needed to be submitted and put on antibiotics. I told her no one told us that at any stage. She responded that at their handover the first Dictor did not tell her about it. On Monday 1 May we had to go again to Eugene Marais Emergency Unit. My Dad's left arm were numb. We were helped at the triage and the decision were made that he need to be submitted by one of the Doctors. We waited for a bed in one of the wards. After an hour I have asked what is going on? Again they told me they will find out. Nothinghappened. No one came back to us. Its really frustrating to not know whats going on. This used to be a good hospital. Whats going on? Just look at the other reviews. Rather stay away
