Stranded at Mumbai Airport with Family

I booked flight from Johannesburg to Mumbai through Ethiopian Airways. The departure time from johannesburg was 2:20 and it departed at 3:00 on 5 Dec 2015.<br> <br> The transit time at Addis Ababa Airport was 25 min. <br> <br> Departure from Addis Ababa - 9:05 PM<br> The flight reached Addis Ababa at 9 pm and there was no ground person to help us with the transit to the next flight for Mumbai.<br> <br> When i went to the counter, they said they have arranged for 11:35 flight.<br> <br> Even this flight departed late at 11:45.<br> <br> Expected arrival - 7:15 am<br> Actual Arrival time - 7:45<br> <br> Because of both the flights being late, we missed our flight to Nagpur which was at 8:35 from Mumbai.<br> <br> Now we are stranded in Mumbai airport with family.<br> <br> Now they ethiopian airlines employees say it's not their problem and that they cannot arrange for our travel.<br> <br> And they said we need to pay the extra amount to jet airways to make another booking.<br> <br> Please help. I am not sure what to do.
