Ethiopian Airlines *********

On 04april 2018, my wife Ivy, went to OR Tambo airport. She was booked on a Ethiopian Airlines flight for Brussels, and whilst boarding the plane, she suffered a heart attack. The airport's first aid team together with ER24 managed to resuscitate her and got her to the local hospital's ICU (Arwyp), where she recovered. We were notified by the Airlines' station manager that her ticket was on hold. Also her cardiologist did not allow her to fly for a minimum of 6 months. And for myself, I also had a booking on Ethiopian Airlines for 09 may to join Ivy in Brussels. This ticket then also had to be cancelled, as I now had to take care of her recovering. Numerous attempts to arrange for new departure dates, alternately have the tickets refunded, were not successful. Phone calls to the area manager, Mr Abel on ********** 263, were eventually not answered any more. E-mails through a local travel agency, and even a lawyer's letter were ignored!! We desperately need to fly to Brussels but, as we are both pensioners, cannot afford to pay again for the same tickets. Please!!!
