Ethiopia Air - Thumbs down

My children traveled from Manila to Cape Town on Ethiopia Air last month. The forward journey wasn't too bad but they did make a hash of the pre-booked meals. However the onward journey was pathetic. This is the very same company voted the best airline a few years ago. It seems there is just no consistency in there value proposition. The flight from CPT to ADD was delayed which resulted in the passengers missing their connecting flight. The airline put them up in a local hotel, served them local food and did not listen to our concerns. We have raised this matter by email with several senior managers at the airline without an acknowledgement nor a response. Is this really how Africa conducts its business? My last flight on the airline is in a couple of weeks time - and this will probably be the last time my family will be making use of Ethiopia Air. YOU HAVE FAILED US MISERABLY
