Disappointing Experience with Ethiopian Airways

I'm writing to share my frustrating experience with Ethiopian Airways on my recent business trip from Johannesburg to Zanzibar on the 15th October 2025. On arrival, my checked bag was misplaced, and I was left without essential props and materials for a crucial meeting. Despite the airline's efforts to locate it, my bag only arrived 2 days later, a day before my return.

The loss of my bag significantly impacted my ability to pitch effectively, and I believe it cost me valuable opportunities. To mitigate the situation, I had to purchase new clothes, toiletries, and other essentials, adding to my expenses.

As a business traveller, reliability and efficiency are crucial. Unfortunately, Ethiopian Airways fell short of my expectations. I hope this review will serve as a warning to others considering this airline for their business travels.
