Disgraceful customer service from Bugetair.com and Ethiopian airlines

I booked flight tickets with Budgetair.com for January 2020. The flight was meant to go to China and then the Pandemic happened. I tried getting hold of the company for more than 3 months with no success. Once I finally got hold of an employee they couldn't assist me with my refund of almost R10 000 and I still have not got my refund. Ethiopian Airlines were just as unhelpful with assisting me with my refund. The following year Ethiopian airlines updated their T&Cs forcing me to make use of the flight tickets during this pandemic. Due to medical reasons, I am unable to make use of these flight tickets. I find this customer service disgraceful from both of these companies and would not recommend either Budgetair.com and Ethiopian airlines to anyone. It has been almost two years since I booked my flight tickets and I have still not received my refund. We are still in a pandemic so the chances of me making use of the tickets are highly unlikely.
