Delayed and damaged suitcase and no responsibility for reimbur*****t

On the 26th of October I took a flight operated by Ethiopian Airlines from Paris to Johannesburg, via Addis Ababa (flight numbers: ET 705 and ET 809, ticket number: ********** ********** 3). In Johannesburg I realized that my luggage was left in Paris and I will receive it next day. Not only did I not receive my suitcase "next day", but I had to spend a lot of time and money on phone calls, email and Facebook messages to both Ethiopian Airlines and BidAir at OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg. Nobody cared about a delay. My reference number for a delay was: JNBET 29742. Finally, 3 days later, after my numerous phone calls, I received my suitcase. It was damaged. I immediately contacted Ethiopian Airlines in multiple ways: email ********** complaint on the "Support and Feedback" page on www.ethiopianairlines.com, as well as message on Facebook page of Ethiopian Airlines South Africa.

I received replies both on my email and Facebook account. Unfortunately those messages, promising a prompt reaction, collection and repair of my suitcase, ended up with NO REACTION whatsoever. The company, which was supossed to collect the suitcase (The Bag Guyz - Mr Julian Sias) failed to do so during my stay in South Africa. I indicated clearly that I am available for cooperation until the 10th of November but unfortunately nobody contacted me during that time. Not to mention that I NEVER received any LUGGAGE DAMAGE PROTOCOL, which is essential to have any sort of repair or service provided in such situation. On the 30th of October I received an email from Ms Tarryn Talbot, including an Incidental Payment Form, offering me a reimbur*****t for the delay - 75USD. As my bag was delayed for 3 days, the amount offered by Ms Talbot does not reflect the expenses I had to cover, while waiting for my luggage (not knowing WHEN exactly it would arrive!). Additionally, after several emails written between myself and Mr Abel Alemu and Mr Minaleshewa Kassa, there was absolutely NO REACTION, nor suggested solution to my problem. I called Mr Abel Alemu (0027-83- ********** ) on the 21.11 and told him about my inconvenience and he pretended he would not know my case, although he clearly was involved in the situation via email messages. I messaged Mr Alemu on the 21.11 to explain my problem one more time, including all necessary information necessary to provide me with a luggage damage protocol and a corrected incidental payment form, but he ignored my email.

I have never experienced such a terrible service and lack of respect. Ethiopian Airlines and their managers, as well as connected workers responsible for passanger care, should be simply avoided. Never again will I plan my trip with this terrible arline.
