57 year old woman left at 2am at airport w/o money

I had booked to leave Uganda with my cat from Uganda to live in Cape Town on Friday 1 August. EA confirmed in writing the cat could travel in cabin. When we reached the airport the EA manager refused to let the cat on the flight, leaving me a 57-year-old woman with no baggage (which had gone on the plane) and no money, standing in the airport at 2am in the morning. Luckily, I still had my mobile so could phone a friend to pick me up. She also let me borrow a lot of money. I then had lots of extra expense and worry, booking the cat in cargo throughout Saturday. We finally arrived in Cape Town on Monday 4 August in Cape Town, the staff did not help at all, so I was over an hour trying to find where my cat had been off-loaded. I have since contacted several people at Ethiopian Airlines to claim back all my extra expenses. They have not rep**** at all. Terrible customer service. I am still traumatised.
