Burst pipe

Please could I get assistance with regards to reference number : F220805/1713

I have been calling everyday since the leak started,and everyday I was told that they are escalating the matter and someone will come through but they cannot confirm time and date as they have a back log of work.

There was a leak on my road across my house the same day and someone was dispatched, they sorted that leak and then parked off their vehicle in front of my property and waited for an hour before driving off I had asked them why are they not sorting out the leak on my property which is getting bad and they said they were not assigned to do so.

From the 1st of August this leak has gotten much more worse.

On 25/8/22 there was the same leak 2 doors away from my house and yet again someone was dispatched to sort that leak but not my leak which was logged from the 5th!

I had phoned the supervisor and ward councilor after multiple phone calls they finally dispatched someone, the workers arrived at 13:15 and began digging. At 14:00 they tell me that they have to stop as it's the end of their shift. The useless control room said they cannot dispatch anyone else!

I called at 17:00 and was told to call back after 19:00. At 19:20 when I called they told me someone was dispatched at 17:10 yet no one came!

I am left with a huge hole in front of my driveway with water gushing out.

My wife was unable to park her car in our property. My car is stuck on the property and I'm unable to go to work due to this.

Kzn is in a water Crisis yet this useless municipality are gladly allowing multiple litres of water to be wasted here.

This is unacceptable, EThekwini municipality needs to employ competent educated stuff!

Further more the plumbers that came out dug right next to my driveway gate! With the amount of water gushing out my gate is soon going to collapse!!

Please could I get assistance asap!!
