Ethekweni Hospital; River Horse Valley

My Mum was admitted in the hospital with cramps on her legs - The hospital is a nightmare. The dnt have any care in the world - Saw my mum every night - one night the sheets needed to changed it was dirty so we requested it be changed and how can they leave everything so filthy . My mother ws drugged and when we asked nightshift sisiter Sister Nyaw what medication was given to my mother she say an antibiotic- ( to my knowledge antibiotic will not make a person drugged.Sisiter Nyaw gave attitude like she was doing us a favour.My mother was weak and throwing up going to the bathroom by herself cld barley walk back to her bed . No nurses in sight to assiist her - we had bring to their attention that she has been throwing up and in pain- they dnt check on patients . When we ask for an update we are given attitude. Nobody knows why she is more ill in the hospital Dr" s Dnt give any feedback they speak to 73 year old who cant give us the message clearly.

Wehave left our contact numbers for the Dr to call us with sister in charge at night nobody called- we have tried several times to get hold of Dr"s left messages no response As for the case manager Marlene she needs to know how treat people she rude and has an attitude like she doing us a favour.. Maybe the Hospital needs to send for training on how to manage patients. Its a few of these people that need to get help cos they are making the hospital bad I will never recommend this hospital to anyone... They dnt know how to treat old folk- its all about making money from the medical Aid
