Why does the EAAB exist?

I have been an Estate Agent for 15 years - I wrote and completed my NQF4 in 2014. For the past 12 months I have been trying to clarify with the EAAB what they are doing with the payments that I have made to them and to clarify issues - the fail to communicate whatsoever, For the past 3.5 months I have fulfilled all their requirement to receive my FFC2020 certificate - no one will give me a clear and honest answer. In fact every time I call I spent hours on the phone only to be provided with the wrong information. Over the past 3 months I have received 4 different reference numbers for this matter - it is escalated, then it is escalated again, but weeks go by and I am not nearer to resolving this issue.

They are unprofessional, disrespectful, unhelpful and as a legally registered estate agent you are treated like a child. I have sent hundreds of emails and of all those emails I have received a handful of responses which were like received an automated answer - like you are not speaking to a human but rather a robot.

The EAAB have never offered anything of real value to my role as an estate agent. They are supposed hold us to a standard, but they themselves have no standard or level of professionalism at all. They are a disgrace to our profession!
