What a disgrace

As an estate agent, my experience of this organisation is hugely disappointing. The website is awful - confusing, cluttered, out of date, misleading, inaccurate, amateur. Yet most of what we need to do in order to practice legally as agents has to be done via the website. Some instructions on how to update certificates, change agencies, make payments etc. are contradictory. When it comes to getting assistance over the 'phone, the EAAB operatives are often unhelpful, patronising, ******** (or misinformed) and occasionally downright rude. The organisation is renowned for being very inefficient, often losing documents, taking ages to send out valuable certificates that have been paid for, overcharging, failing to update their website with important changes and information. To say the whole thing needs an overhaul is a bit cliched, everyone in the industry knows it. Yet in spite of the fact that we pay for it with our fees, the EAAB wields too much power and seems totally unaccountable. Sack the board and start again - it's a disgrace.
