The "Service" from the Estate Agency Affairs Board

I am a 66 year old semi- retired white individual trying to eke out a living and put bread on the table, and keep a roof over our heads.

I never received a renewal notice from this "Board" for the renewal of my Fidelity Fund Certificate for this year. I remembered in November, and on application to renew, was imposed with a penalty for late payment, which was double the original amount.

I duly sent correspondence to this "Board" requesting leniency with this, as per the aforementioned facts. Needless to say my request was totally ignored.

Their CPD learning platform has been inoperative for the last 3 months, and now I've been informed by this " Board " that I must have my CPD points up to date by the end of June 2021, and pay R2000 for the privilege.

At the present moment I'm not surviving financially, and now I have this toothless, money grabbing "Board" denying me the right to earn a living.

My rights are being violated, and to pay R2000 for some amateurish videos that I must watch to comply is a joke.

Their offices are closed more often than not with COVID infections, their systems are intermittent, and they DONT CARE about the agent who is paying their salaries. I have also been led to believe that they are currently under administration.

I demand my rights, as a citizen of this country, and demand my right to earn a living.

I did not earn an income for 9 months of last year, can these bureaucrats say the same??????
