Are you there to protect the agent eventhough they in the wrong.

<p>I was reffered to the EAAB by the Rental Tribunal and I went on to lodge a complaint against my Rental Agent.</p> <p>The EAAB "claims" to act against estate agents going against the code of conduct.</p> <p>Well my case is clearly in transgression against the EAAB code namely:</p> <p> - Based on Mandate agent pays my rent late.</p> <p> - Based on contract he under pays me.</p> <p> - I am struggling to get my contract from him.</p> <p> </p> <p>All of this with proof was sent to the EAAB. Also on inspection the agent is registered with the EAAB.</p> <p> </p> <p>I got a simple email saying if the mandate governs our agreement and I have to cancel in terms of mandate.</p> <p> </p> <p>That is not what I asked in email but got this response.</p> <p> </p> <p>So my question: ARE you there to protect the agent as long they pay?</p> <p> </p> <p>Regards</p> <p> </p>
