I put up a laybye over 6 months ago and when I canceled it this year, I was told I can't get a refund but only a credit note as the laybye is over 6 months ago. This is absolutely ridiculous as now the store is forcing me to buy something at their store. They already imposed 10% penalty fee for canceling the laybye but still won't refund me the fee and insist on a credit note. This is day light ******* at its best. Worse of all, I was not given anything indication I will forfeit a refund if tge laybye exceeds 6 months so there are no legal grounds to refuse me my refund.
