Misrepresenation of sale

I purchased a" genuine leather" lounge suite on the 24th of November 2017 from Essops in Marlboro. I was assured and guaranteed that the lounge suite is genuine leather. On the 20th of January 2018 and small spark fell onto the lounge suite and made a small burn on it. According to my knowledge and all research genuine leather should not burn. The store refuses to acknowledge that genuine leather should not burn and they refuse to repair the burn or take responsibility for misrepresentation of selling a genuine leather product. I really find that ********* and unacceptable. Genuine leather will never burn; I have done a test myself on my genuine leather seats in my BMW and it did not burn!!
